Vattenfall Energy Trading is the central trading hub of the Vattenfall group. Our trading house is multi-site located across Europe with about 400 professionals working in Amsterdam, Copen- hagen, Hamburg, Stockholm and Warsaw. We operate in the highly volatile energy markets to mitigate risks on behalf of the entire Vattenfall group. We trade com- modities like electricity, gas, coal, freight and emissions and take responsibility for a diversified sour- cing of fuels and carbon credits. These efforts are the basis for increased customer value, fulfilling the targets of sustainable energy and continuous business growth.

  The Logistics Department is a service unit for the gas and power trading departments in fulfilling the physical delivery. We are purchasing transport capacities, place market bids on European power exchanges, sending out schedules to transmission system operators and are trading on own demand in the intraday unit.
